Kindly be informed that the Ministry of Mines and Energy has resolved to adjust the fuel prices for December 2021 as follows:

• Increase the petrol price by 70 c/l
• Increase the diesel price by 70 c/l
• The effective date is: 01 December 2021

Even though, fuel prices are facing an upward adjustment (increase). The Government, through the National Energy Fund (NEF) will cover the entirety of the under-recoveries recorded for the month of November 2021 on behalf of fuel consumers through the fuel equalization levy. This amounts to approximately over N$154 million.

Fuel prices countrywide are expected to be adjusted accordingly. Members of the public are encouraged to report any breach of this order, to the (Regulator) Ministry of Mines and Energy.
