Dear Esteemed Stakeholder,

The Ministry of Industries, Mines and Energy has completed the review of fuel prices for December 2025 and hereby notifies the public of its decision as follows:

That the Ministry recorded:

•          under-recoveries of 21.21 cents per litre for petrol

•          under-recoveries of 156.51 cents per litre for 50ppm diesel

•          under-recoveries of 150.11 cents per litre for 10ppm diesel

Therefore, the Ministry is hereby announcing that:

•          The prices of petrol and both diesel variants (diesel 50ppm and diesel 10ppm) will increase by 21 cents per litre.

•          In Walvis Bay, the new pump prices will N$20.58 per litre for petrol, N$20.13 per litre for diesel 50ppm, and N$20.23 per litre for diesel 10ppm.

•          The National Energy Fund will absorb all under-recoveries for diesel.

As Namibia remains a net importer of fuel, the Ministry will continue balancing cost recovery with consumer protection to ensure the sustainable supply of petroleum products across the country.
