INTRODUCTION

The petroleum acts and regulations serve as instruments by which the Ministry of Mines and Energy regulates the Namibian petroleum sector. In order to ensure an effective and efficient legislative framework for petroleum industry, there exists a need to review and update the petroleum acts, regulations and Petroleum Agreement. Therefore, the Ministry of Mines and Energy is seeking the service of a competent consultant with the necessary skills and experience to comprehensively review and update the current petroleum legislation.
