SECTION TRANSPORT, REGISTRY, PAYMENTS AND SUPPORT STAFF

Salary Scale              :                       N$ 192 947 – 230 591

                                      :                       Transport Allowance: N$7176 p.a

 

Minimum Requirements: A National Diploma or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 6) plus six (6) years appropriate experience.

 

Additional Requirements: Candidate must have knowledge and experience at a supervisory level in Transport Management, Electronic Document and Record Management System, IFMS, General Administration and must be in possession of a valid drivers’ license. The candidate must also have strong supervisory skills as well as good communication skills.

 

Main Duties:

  • Manage, Monitor all Ministerial GRN Vehicles
  • Ensure that technical reports for all worn and damaged Ministerial GRN vehicles are done
  • Conduct regular inspections on vehicles and report the status of vehicles on a monthly basis
  • Drafting submissions, reports, accident queries in terms of various legislations and guidelines
  • Ensure submission of vehicle accident reports to the Ministerial Losses and Damages Committee
  • Drafting internal circulars on transport regulations
  • Monitor and Manage all payment issues
  • Be in contact with other Directorates concerning Support Staff
  • Coordinate the compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual activity reports for all subsections under him/her
  • Supervision of all sub-sections under him/her.
  • Ensure payment of monthly payments such as utility, fuel, Government Garage
  • Supervise switchboard operations.
  • Responsible for Performance Agreements and Reviews thereof of staff under this section
  • Supervise the main Registry
  • Update the Ministry Filling system periodically and or as the need arises
  • Be a member of the Ministry EDRMS Committee
  • Secretary to the Ministerial Economizing Committee
