MME launched Strategic Plan

The Ministry of Mines and Energy recently launched its new Strategic Plan for the period 2017/18 to 2021/22 on the 7th of September 2017.   During the Launch, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Hon. Kornelia Shilunga said during her speech, that the 5-year Strategic Plan, outlines not only the Ministry’s mandate, vision, mission and core values, but also serves as the initial blueprint in the implementation of the Ministry`s strategic objectives and programmes. 


The 7th of September also saw the launch of the MME Customer Service Charter which highlights the level of service which the client can expect when dealing with the Ministry of Mines and Energy.  The Charter includes a framework that will allow the Ministry to measure and improve the quality of service it provides to existing and potential clients.  During the Launch, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Mines and Energy, Mr. Simeon Negumbo said that the Charter will ensure, that the Ministry will maintain its promise in conducting its operations based on the principles of quality customer service standards.


The Launched which took place at the Ministry of Mines and Energy head office was well attended.
