Namibia hosts the international Diamond

The Diamond Board of Namibia through the Ministry of Mines and Energy will host the second international diamond conference and jewelry exhibition on the 23 - 24 November 2015, at the Safari Hotel and Conference and the Heritage Museum at the Ministry of Mines and Energy respectively. The theme of the Diamond Omugongo is titled "Challenges facing diamond beneficiation in Southern Africa:  How can we make this industry viable and sustainable."

 

The conference will be inaugurated by Hon. Obeth Mbui Kandjoze, the Minister of Mines and Energy. Other international and local diamond industry experts including the Minister of Mines and Mining Development of Zimbabwe, Hon Walter Chidakwa are also expected to speak at the event.  Captains of industry from all over the world including Ministers from other SADC countries.

 

The event will conclude with a gala dinner on the evening of 24 November at the Parliament Gardens.
