On 23 October, the Ministry of Mines and Energy hosted two events, the launch of the new MME logo and the cleaning campaign.  The events were held at the Ministry of Mines and Energy main building in Windhoek. 
 

During his address to the staff of the Ministry, Minister Kandjoze mentioned that he was happy for the existence of the new logo, he further emphasised that the logo is not just another design and that it is the very trademark of the Ministry which depicts the services of the Mines and Energy.
 

During the time of cleaning, over (90) ninety personnel gathered to attend to the Ministers call on keeping the MME surrounding clean.  The staff managed to collect a total of (75) seventy five refuge bags filled with waste collected from the MME surrounding.    
 

In closing, he encourage staff members to keep the surroundings of the Ministry clean.  “Remember that it is not only the job of cleaners or the landscaper artist, in keeping office surrounding clean but we are all entitled to take up the practice” said Minister Kandjoze.
