Minerals Development Fund of Namibia (MDF) is a semi-governmental
institution based in the Ministry of Mines & Energy, and
managed by a Board
of Directorsrepresenting
all mining interests in the country. The Fund was established
by an Act of Parliament, Act No. 19 of 1995 with the aim to
support the local mining sector.
